Happy New Year and Welcome 2015!
NYE Celebrations
Although last year we were forced by snow to spend the first day of the year inside, I knew early in the week that I wouldn’t be leaving my house on January 1st. I was looking forward to a relaxing day in my PJ’s with Cooper and the BOY. It is the start of my long 5 day weekend and since the rest of the weekend involves lots of running around, it’s great to have a day that doesn’t.
When I woke up, I was hoping to catch up on blogging with a Law&Order marathon (I’m disappointed in you TNT) but easily settled in with some early college bowl games after breakfast. The BOY ordered a pizza and by 1pm, we knew it was time for a nap. I woke up refreshed and ready for more football. But first, I made a Turkey Chili in the crockpot. Can you really have a day of comfies and football without chili? I didn’t think so!
Then it was back to the couch for more blogging, a wee bit of online shopping, snacking, and the Rose Bowl. I know that I have a 2015 bucket list to think about, but I have 4 more days off for that. Although it would be good to start of the year with some January goals.
Goal #1 Get off Couch. Goal #2 Leave House.
Just kidding!
What are you January goals? How did you spend the first day of the year?
January Goals
1. Study, Study Study!
-Test prep is a huge priority this month!
2. Continue to exercise 5 days a week
3. Sign up and get prepped for a triathlon (sprint or olympic? I’m still debating)
4. Try new recipes/Revisit my cookbooks
BTW, the title is dedicated to my bro who likes to make fun of my hashtags : )
Haha I’m not a football fan but I do enjoy a relaxing day like that!!
Isn’t it the BEST! Happy new year Liz!

i know right?! I had to do it!
Heck yes you did! I love doing that sometimes, but if I do I have to commit to doing it all day and not feel guilty for not working out or whatever. When I commit, it feel SO DARN GOOD. and your hashtag is hilarious haha
Thanks Britta! I definitely committed and agree that you just have to own it and love it. Happy new year!
