November was a fantastic month full of exciting firsts (first time hosting Thanksgiving and first time teaching a community class at a studio) and memorable times as the BOY became a lawyer. It was a month of good outdoor runs and intense strength sessions. It was a month of delicious food and sweet deserts. It was a month of gratefulness!!!
As we round the corner into December, I am filled with happiness thinking back on how the year turned out and looking forward to many more exciting times ahead.
I know that December will be a fun way to end this amazing year on a high!
I thought it would be good to check in on my November/December goals if for no other reason than to remind myself what I was hoping to accomplish and refocus for the month ahead. I’ve added in a new study goal too since I am taking a professional test early next year and am struggling to study as much as I want at night after work.
November/December Goals
1. Exercise 5 days per week-I’ve adjusted my workouts for the winter and have consistently been getting in 5 per week.
2. Host our first Thanksgiving-GOAL MET
3. Teach a community yoga class- GOAL MET
4. Eat clean (even during the holidays)-Here we go…
5. Study hard
Since we finally ran out of Thanksgiving leftovers, it was time to hit up the grocery store. I let the BOY dictate our menu as he is the one who will be cooking dinner this week.
Meal Planning 12/01/14
Sunday: Tilapia and Veggies
Monday: Stuffed Pork Chops and Brussel Sprouts
Tuesday: Spaghetti (Squash) with Turkey Meatballs
Wednesday: Baked Potato Bar
Thursday: Dinner on the Go
Lunch: Jen’s Jumbo
Just for Fun: 2 Loaves of Pumpkin Pear Bread (1 for work and 1 for home)
BOOM, ending with a bang.
Yay!
Love it!
Look at that! You are almost there! I am trying to eat clean as well! It shouldn’t be too hard until I go home!! 😦 That is where shit hits the fan! 🙂 We just have to keep up the workouts!!
Agreed! The strength training definitely helps! Home is always tough for me too : )
Woo great meal plan! And great month of firsts. Now this month you get to relax and celebrate the milestones you’ve both passed this year 🙂
Agreed! What great perspective Lauren. You get to enjoy the new place. Hooray!
