1. So I brought my Pulled Pork Chili to work to share with my coworkers. They were big fans! We are thinking of starting a crockpot share for our leftovers.
2. OMG! My abs still hurt from Thursday morning’s group exercise class. Yup, I’ve been to the 6am class two weeks in a row. I really like the people and it is a kick ass workout! I’ll be back next week.
3. Tomorrow, I am going to a 2 hour Sun Salutation workshop at this studio in the city. I’ve never done something like this and I’m looking forward to it!
4. I was almost late to work yesterday because I couldn’t find my cell phone or my cat. I came back from working out to get ready for work, hung with the Coop kid, we woke up the BOY, and as I was walking out the door, Cooper was nowhere to be found. I had eaten my eggs (one of his favorites) without him sneaking a bite and opened the dishwasher without him jumping in. We couldn’t find him anywhere and when I shook his food, he didn’t come running. I almost started to panic. Then as a last resort, I opened the downstairs bathroom door and out poured Cooper. I have no idea how he got in there…and got the door closed, but I was happy to have found him before heading off to work. Since I didn’t have my phone (still missing at this time, but later found in my car), I couldn’t get a photo that morning, but of course have enough mischievous photos to share.
5. I’m drinking some delicious Cooper’s Hawk wine right now. Mmmmm! TGIF!
What are your weekend plans?
Have you ever lost your pet?
Bahahaa silly kitty!! So cute, I hate not knowing where my cats are and will look everywhere before I leave for peace of mind!
I know…they can be such trouble makers : )
But I love him!
Our gardener has left the side gate open and I FREAK! We have a dog door and he’s taken himself for a little stroll a couple times. Worst feeling ever 😦 Glad Coop is safe and sound!!
It really is! Cooper can get into so much trouble here so I am always worried about something!
Dogma locks himself into rooms by sneaking in an open door and then bumping the door closed by accident-a hazard of being a rather large boy! Glad you found Cooper-I must admit he is a cutie-and I am not usually a cat person. Go on the Blue Buffalo website(petfood). They have a contest for the most outrageous cat pics-I think that Cooper could be a contender.
For sure! The hardest thing would be choosing which one to submit. Thanks for the suggestion. You’ll have to chat with my mom who is also not a cat person but LOVES cooper!
Excited to hear more about your two-hour sun salutation workshop! I’ve taken a 108 sun salutation class to ring in the new year and spring, but never a workshop… sounds cool! Have a wonderful time!
I remember you talking about that. I’ve never seen anything like that around here. We found another workshop next month that we are talking about Chalkra’s. Can’t wait!

I’m so glad you are making the chili and my mom is sharing the recipes. I will have to find a Saturday soon to swing by and see everyone! thanks for your comment!
I’m also looking forward to hearing about the yoga workshop! I bet it’ll be amazing.
Ha- one time we were at my in-laws house and Harold was in the back yard (they have a walk out basement). We were upstairs in the kitchen and heard a little yelp. He had apparently escaped and was at the front door wanting to come in! Thank goodness he didn’t run away!
That is so funny! Sometimes they are found before they are missing! Cooper was all alone for the night and did wonderful. He was waiting by the door for us when we got home. It’s always wonderful to have a greeter : )
I will be interested to see what you think of the sun salutation workshop!!
I love working my abs in class cause they are always sore cause if I do it on my own I always cut it short!! 🙂
I went down to Eugene this weekend to see friends, new babies, and eat too many desserts!!
Oh sounds wonderful!
It was such a cool class. Taking a yoga workshop is really fun. Everyone should do it!!!
Love Cooper Hawk!!
ha ha!
Us too!!!
Love Cooper. So cute. When Riley was a puppy, he ran away from our vacation rental and luckily we saw him and coaxed him back by telling him we were going for a ride. Now that he can’t see and hear well, we have to watch letting him go anywhere without a leash because he will take off assuming we are with him and we have to run to catch him! Crazy animals!
Oh that is so funny!
Pets are a serious hoot AND a handful!
