Although yesterday I was feeling much better, storms rolled in last night wreaking their usual havoc on my sinuses. Ahhh! Bummer! My scheduled 8 mile run was out of the question, and Cooper and I became semi-permanent fixtures on my couch with hot tea and multiple old episodes of So You Think You Can Dance. Some of us napped…

On days like today…only soup will do! As I debated whether or not I was going to make the drive to the grocery store, I started thinking about all of my favorite soup recipes. This blog is FULL of them!

My cat used to lay all over my computer when I would try to do homework for my online classes. He also loved to hide on the fridge when people came over. What a goof! Rainy day food… I love me some soup, chili, tea, pizza, grilled cheese. Of course all at the same time! haha not. But seriously, comfort food is the bomb! Oh this is making me excited for fall! I love black tea in the mornings…I brought back some strong ones from Israel that are incredible! At night, I love me some Roobis or red tea. On the go, I am a TAZO Awake girl. YOu??
I love my Samurai Chai from Teavanna and pretty much anything fruity. I have a blueberry bliss and pineapple kona pop that I mix from there…heavenly. Ok, forgive me for asking, but I am nominating you for something and I realized I don’t know your first name!

Yuck! My allergies are acting up with today’s hideous rainstorm, so I can totally feel your pain. My favorite sick soup is (embarrasingly), Campbell’s tomato out of the can. Other favorites include my homemade chicken soup with dumplings and baked potato soup.

My dad’s matzah ball soup is my favorite but I didn’t have any in the freezer. There is something about Campbell’s that reminds me of childood (like kraft mac n cheese) that always puts me in a good mood : )

Yes to matzo ball! That is my absolute favorite, but I didn’t have any stored in the freezer. My dad makes the BEST soup EVER! I should go begging for some : )

Holy cow! How in the world did Cooper get up on the fridge?! They can be so cute when they are sleeping and such terrors when they are awake. We still love them though.
