We only had about 24 hours in this city, voted the 3rd most interesting by Lonely Planet in 2011, but we packed in some history lessons, current events, beach time, and night life. Tag along for the highlights…

Next Stop…Jerusalem!
How beautiful is that beach?!? Gorgeous!
It was my first swim in the Mediterranean Sea and I loved it!
Absolutely beautiful!
Thanks so much for the comment! I hope to get back there again soon!
Beautiful photos- and how about that beach?! Incredible!
Cannot wait to read about/see Jerusalem through your eyes!
I am working on that one now. We did so much in the city and it is so incredible that I’m having trouble fitting it into just one post. You’ll have to let me know what you think!
Wow that sounds like a whirlwind of a day!!!
Luckily it was split into two days but not more than 24 hours. We packed tons into every day which was great while I was there but meant that I was catching up on sleep all of last week : )
Thanks for the comment!
Your photos are gorgeous and that lunch looks fabulous! I’m glad you had a great trip!
Thanks! It was an incredible journey and I am starting to adjust to being back in the states : ) We are heading to WI the next few weekends but would love to find a time Mid August to get together and chat!

More gorgeous pictures! That beach looks heavenly!
So glad you got to take a look through my Israel photos. It is such a cool place and I loved being able to share it on the blog!
Lunch looked yummy!! How do the beaches compare to Florida beaches? Is the water clear?
Hmm good question!
It reminded me of the Ocean side beaches but much warmer and not as clear as the gulf side beaches. The sand was pretty similar to the the beaches we go to near Ft Lauderdale.
The Tel Aviv beach should be on top of everyone’s list if they have 24 hours to spend in Israel. Of course, one mustn’t forget to roam around Jaffa Hill and Neve Tzedek, shop at Allenby or Dizengoff Center, go further to Mazada and Dead Sea, while having shwarma, felafel, and whole bunch of delicious Middle Eastern salads.
I hope that I can get back there to explore some more. Thank you so much for the comment!
