This morning’s breakfast totally ROCKED!




Then, I ROCKED my 9.5 mile run.  I was supposed to run 11 miles yesterday, but since I wasn’t feeling well, I postponed yesterday’s run until today and went to Hot Yoga instead.  Exercising on matzah has never been my favorite thing, so I set out around the path with intentions to run around the entire loop for the fist time this year, but I wasn’t sure if I had it in me this morning.




80 minutes later, I was back home, feeling strong and a super sweaty.  I just LOVE a good run (especially when you’re not expecting it).  I even had enough steam to power up the last hill.  I was impressed that I ROCKED less than 9 minute miles.  With my first race of the year 4 weeks away, it was a big confidence boost!




Afterwards, I gently and gingerly ROCKED my tired legs along the foam roller.

For my post-run snack, I dug in to a bowl of one of my favorite foods.  My Dad’s matzah ball soup ROCKS!  Although it’s not your typical running snack, it hit the spot.




The BOY and I are spending the afternoon together hanging out inside, watching The Muppets (we rented The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for tonight).  There is a crisp breeze and it is starting to smell like spring.  Although there is nothing that ROCKS about house work, it does feel good to have a few loads of laundry done and this week’s dinner already in the crockpot.  And I am thrilled to just be catching up on some R&R!




Plus…I know that the BOY will make a ROCKiN’ dinner (ok maybe that is one ROCK too many) on the grill tonight.
