Cranky Cranberries

True to my word, I am back into pushup mode.  Although I am not following the plan exactly, I got up this morning, grabbed a bite of Cranberry Walnut Bread, and hit the floor.  There are no pictures necessary to document this event as pushups straight out of bed at 6AM are not so pretty.  I didn’t do anything amazing…4 sets of 20, 15, 10, and 5, but my arms were fatigued by the time I hit the shower.  After my shower, I was ready for breakfast.  Last night I prepped a Cranberry Dough Boy Smoothie before going to bed.




In the blender:

1 cup Almond milk

1/2 cup oats

2 Tbsp Chia seeds

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 banana, sliced

1/2 cup fresh cranberries

Dash of cinnamon

Place all ingredients in a blender, cover, and refrigerate over night.  In the morning, BLEND and ENJOY!






Although cranberry is not typically my go to flavor…I LOVED this dough boy smoothie!!!  It is a great option for any leftover fresh cranberries you may have and easy to make.

Totally random…but I didn’t sleep too well last night.  Good thing, I had this delicious breakfast to start my day.  I’m thinking I may make another one for tomorrow too!

Interestingly, the kids at work were a bit out of sorts today and many of the parents said that their kids didn’t sleep well either.  I’m blaming the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year.  But it might also be work stress, the BOY’s last final today, the end of the year, or the fact that this is just a busy week.
