Hmmmmm you reminded me of my mom’s banana bran bread-it used all bran cereal (do they still make that) instead of some of the flour and it was dark and dense-it was absolutely delicious! I need to dig out that recipe and check it out.

  4. Banana bread sounds awesome right now, I may have to whip some up today. Thanks for the recipes :)

  5. I love banana bread!! I just don’t love baking. Luckily, my mom makes the best banana bread ever–and is usually quite happy to share. She even makes mini-loaves for me to freeze for later. :)

    • That is the way to do it! I like to keep some frozen breads in my freezer to share too! The mini loaves are the best. The BOY won’t touch bananas and I can eat an entire loaf myself so I like the mini ones for some portion control. Ha ha!

    • It is so awesome!!! Banana and strawberry go great together and warm strawberries are incredible in EVERY kind of bread. I love the idea of a crown. If I were tech savvy I would make one on my sidebar for sure : )
